Because MPB is a professional brokerage platform, MPB primarily collect Business Information, including:

  • Identity Data: Names, professional titles, and organizational affiliations.
  • Contact Data: Business email addresses, phone numbers, and physical addresses.
  • Transaction and Patent Data: Information regarding intellectual property, patent numbers, and technical documentation.
  • Technical Data: IP addresses, browser types, and usage patterns.
  • Payment Data: Financial information for the purchase of MPB Directory space. MPB utilizes secure third-party processors; full payment card details are not stored on MPB servers.

2.) How MPB Uses Information

  • Facilitate Introductions: Share data between potential Buyers/Licensees and Sellers/Licensors.
  • Verification: Confirm "Sophisticated Party" status.
  • Platform Integrity: Maintain the Professional Directory and communication regarding listings.

3.) Information Sharing and Disclosure MPB does not sell data to third-party marketers. You consent to sharing information with:

  • Directory Visibility: Information user provides for Professional Directory listings will be visible to all platform users.
  • Potential Affiliates: Parties necessary to explore or facilitate a transaction.
  • Legal Reasons: To comply with law, enforce our Terms, or protect the safety of MPB and its Users.
  • Service Providers: Trusted vendors (e.g., secure hosting) and MPB’s financial institutions.

4.) Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures. However, per MPB’s Terms of Service & Conditions, MPB does not guarantee "absolute security." Users are encouraged to use separate secure channels for highly sensitive technical specifications.

5.) International Data Transfers

Information may be processed in the United States or other countries. By using MPB’s platform, you consent to this transfer.

Medical Patents Broker Inc. (MPB), believe in transparency regarding cookies. This policy explains how and why MPB uses cookies and similar technologies to ensure the integrity of the MPB marketplace and precautions associated with intellectual property listed with MPB.

1.) What are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device to help MPB’s platform function correctly. They allow MPB to remember your login status, protect against unauthorized access, and understand how users interact with our technology listings.

2.) How MPB Use Cookies

We categorize our cookies into three functional areas:

A.) Strictly Necessary (Security & Authentication): These are essential for the operation of the Patent Maestro® Vault. They allow us to verify your identity, maintain your secure session, and prevent "session hijacking." These cookies cannot be disabled.

B.) Performance & Analytics: These cookies help us understand how our marketplace is performing. MPB uses this data to improve the user experience and ensure that patent assets are loading correctly for potential buyers/licensees.

C.) Functional: Cookies remember your preferences, such as your language settings or whether you have already acknowledged MPB protocols.

3.) Security & The Vault

  • 3.1 Security Protocols: Accessing sensitive intellectual property requires elevated security. Based on MPB’s Legitimate Interest in protecting the assets within the MPB platform, MPB uses mandatory security cookies to log IP addresses, device identifiers, and access duration. This is a mandatory protocol to shield information housed within the Patent Maestro® Vault Portal and other portals.
  • 3.2 No Guarantee of Absolute Security: While MPB employs industry-standard encryption and security cookies, MPB does not warrant or guarantee that the Platform or the Vault is immune to unauthorized access, hacking, or data breaches. User acknowledges that all digital transmissions carry inherent risks.
  • 3.3 Limitation of Trade Secret Liability: MPB provides the "Vault" as a facilitation tool only. The User remains solely responsible for the classification and protection of the user’s proprietary information. MPB shall not be liable for the loss, theft, or unauthorized disclosure of the User’s trade secrets or confidential data, regardless of the security measures in place at the time of the incident.

4.) Your Rights & Global Privacy Control (GPC)

Consistent with 2026 State privacy laws (including KCDPA and CCPA), MPB honors Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. You may also opt-out of non-essential tracking via MPB’s Preference Center. However, please note that because MPB’s security cookies are Strictly Necessary for the access to the “Vault,” disabling them will result in immediate termination of Vault access and communications.

5.) Updates to This Policy

MPB may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our technology or legal requirements. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
